Volunteer Opportunities
A number of Alternative House's current volunteer opportunities that involve interacting with program participants are listed below. These opportunities generally entail a 6- to 12-month commitment and attendance at one or more training sessions. Prospective volunteers for these positions must complete an application and interview process and may be subject to a background check and, in some cases, a TB test. (There is a $23.00 fee, payable by the volunteer, for the background check.)
To learn more about these and other volunteer opportunities, we encourage you to attend a Volunteer Information Session.
