Donate to the Alternative House
Approximately half-of the resources we need to operate Alternative House come from non-government sources. About one-fourth is financial support from individuals, businesses, the faith community and private foundations and one-fourth is in-kind donations of food, clothing, paper goods and volunteer hours.
There are many ways to support Alternative House. If you can't find the information you need here or would like to discuss your donation with us, please contact us and we'd be happy to talk with you.
Donate Now - You can make a donation to Alternative House online with your credit card. Just click on the button to the right. You will be taken to a form on www.givedirect.org which processes credit card donations for Alternative House. Or simply mail a check to us at P.O. Box 694, Dunn Loring, VA 22027.
Donate a Vehicle - Alternative House can accept your vehicle donation through the "Vehicle Donation to Any Charity" progam. Just click on the button to the right.
United Way - You can donate to Alternative House though United Way (our code is #8893) or the Combined Federal Campaign (our code is #41814).
Donate Goods or Services - Alternative House has need of a wide variety of household and personal goods and professional services. Please see our Wish List for more details.
Corporate Support - Your company or organization can support Alternative House in many ways:
